Taking Biology Literally

It can be difficult to grasp the intricacies of biology, so visual aids can be incredibly helpful in learning. Visualizing what lies beneath can be both interesting and educational! To illustrate this concept, this teacher is attempting to present a more vivid image of the human body. And when we say "more vivid," we truly mean it!
Younger students may struggle to comprehend the positioning of their organs and limbs, so it is important to properly explain the concept. To provide a more tangible example, why not try using a 3D image of oneself? Additionally, to make this more engaging, sleeves and masks could be added in the future.
Here's a Good Reason to Stay Awake During Class

No one believes that only students know how to play pranks on each other! This teacher had a unique way of punishing a student who dozed off during class. Unlike other teachers who would simply wake them up and send them out of their classroom, this creative teacher decided to go for something a bit more impactful. He knelt and tied the student's shoelaces together, leaving the rest of the class in anticipation.
We can only imagine the embarrassment the student must have felt, and we're certain that this lesson will stay with him for a long time! Who knew that learning history could be so exciting?
Curb Your Messy Handwriting

Due to some students' handwriting being too small and thus not legible, a teacher may need to invest in a magnifying glass to be able to read it. Not knowing what the student meant with their work, the teacher saw an opportunity to make a joke out of it and asked the student what grade they wanted. This could be a solution to use in the future if one finds themselves in a tricky exam.
According to Understood.org, messy handwriting isn't always caused by student laziness and negligence: it can also be linked to poor motor skills and ADHD.
It's All About Physics

The facial expression of the student told a different story when the teacher chose to demonstrate gravity and mass distribution in an unorthodox way, opting out of traditional teaching methods. Instead of reaching for a textbook, she decided to rest on her student's desk at an angle, much to the student's discomfort.
Though the teacher may have had good intentions, it was clear that her approach was not welcome. We're big fans of alternative teaching methods, but we don't think leaving students uncomfortable is the best way of making them learn new things. Nonetheless, this teacher sure knows her physics!
Blazing Wasp Wars

In English class, we learn about Shakespeare's love of cycles of violence in certain of his works. We focus on revenge and its consequences, such as light, fire, burning, destruction, and death. We are taught to cleanse our hearts of revenge before it consumes us. But chemistry class is a different story.
There, we learn about the properties of flammable gases. They're almost like a weapon! So if you have an enemy like, say, a wasp, all you need is a match or a light and you're ready to fight back. Or maybe, just maybe, open a window so the wasp can fly away…?
Passing the Exam

Exams can be incredibly overwhelming, especially when our brain just stops working. We can draw some bizarre pictures that we can't even explain. One student had a moment of mental shutdown and drew a man-dolphin, which made the other people in the class who had gone through the same experience feel better.
Thankfully, the teacher saw the humor in it. Though it wasn't the right answer, he or she appreciated the student's creativity and rewarded him for it. That's a great way to lift someone's spirits after a stressful test! So, the next time you find yourself zoning out during an exam, draw a cartoon instead!
Under the Ocean

The result of Jack, Joshua, and Kimberly's yearbook pictures was so humorous that they could easily win the Most Valuable Educator award! It's remarkable how these teachers have managed to incorporate their passion for teaching in such a creative manner. We can't help but wonder if this was all a pre-planned collaboration or a spur-of-the-moment decision, but whatever the case may be, the outcome is amazing.
Yearbooks are a bonafide American tradition, but they get a whole lot more fun when people take risks and get creative with their photos. Fortunately, no animals were harmed in the making of this picture!
Approved by The Cosby Show

It can be quite challenging to memorize certain math formulas, especially when it comes to trigonometry. To help students with this, it is important to remember the basics of trigonometry as these are the building blocks of the subject. To assist with this, one teacher had a brilliant idea to use the famous comedian Bill Cosby to teach trigonometry.
This is certainly an innovative approach! What other topics can teachers use this method for? Which characters and images will be used? We're not sure, but we think there are better comedians to use in class, especially considering Cosby's infamous past.
Mass Times Acceleration

A kid had dreams of becoming an art teacher, but life's circumstances took him in a different direction, and he ended up becoming a physics teacher instead. He was a huge fan of “Star Wars" and found a way to use this passion to become an inspirational figure. He used a F=ma formula to demonstrate his teaching on a canvas, making him a legend in the process.
His artwork should be immortalized and preserved for all to see, and anyone who can provide this teacher with a canvas would be doing him a great service. May the force be with him!
It Was About Time!

Time, time, time: is there any asset more important than time? In life, that's pretty much all we have for granted. So, this teacher had an innovative way of motivating their students. He hung a clock in the classroom with a message reading, “Time is passing. Are you?” While some may view it as discourteous, this bold move could be seen as a gentle reminder to stay focused in class.
We are appreciative to not be part of that class, where the clock is the only source of hope for when the lecture ends. But from a teacher's perspective, we think this one's pretty smart.
A Walken in the Park

No matter how well you've done in movies like "Catch Me If You Can" or "Pulp Fiction," if you don't have an appointment, you won't be allowed to have a meeting. Yes, even if you happen to be the great Christopher Walken! This poster, featuring his stern expression, should be enough to make that clear.
On the other hand, a teacher's creativity doesn't get much better than this. Using Walken's face was a great idea, but the thing we love the most is how the teacher played with the words "walk-in" and "Walken." It's one of the most hilarious school posters we've ever seen.
A Christmas Gift From the Math Teacher

Teachers have the ungrateful task of teaching their students the same thing year after year—and yes, that can be boring. But this tutor, who found himself stuck doing math during the Christmas holidays, was smart and creative enough to try something new for Christmas.
He delivered the perfect mathematics Christmas gift to his students, spreading love in the classroom by donning a Santa hat and giving them the ultimate Christmas equation. Nobody knows where he learned the formula or found the equation that revealed the answer merry=X-mas, but it was certainly a magical moment! Math can be a magical subject indeed.
Not An Easy Job

She never imagined that one day she would be able to return to her old school as a third-grade teacher. She has fond memories of her geography tutor who made her feel like she belonged, and this inspired her to leave her comfort zone and pursue her dream of becoming a teacher instead of a lawyer.
Her heart was ultimately in teaching, and this was the career path she chose. But the road ahead is going to take a lot of work: while teaching can be rewarding, it is also a poorly paid, demanding, and extremely unfair job at times.
Hammers Are Not Allowed

When one receives good scores on an exam, it's a rewarding feeling because all of his or her hard work has paid off. One's day will be instantly made when one obtains good results! Take this student, for example, who felt so anxious that he studied way too much for the test. He got an A+ and should be given a round of applause! But what about the teacher?
It is funny that he chose to write a message on the student's exam paper. If the teacher had used a hammer to write instead, the conversation would have been even more memorable!
Gandalf Doesn't Like Cheaters

Students often look for the easy way out, which is why they sometimes choose to plagiarize a task instead of doing it themselves. However, this is not a wise choice as it can lead to serious consequences. Independence is important for students, and it should not be achieved by stealing another person's work.
In this case, the teacher was able to quickly detect plagiarism with the help of a very special friend. Who? None other than Gandalf, one of the main characters in "Lord of the Rings!" Thanks to the teacher's expertise and knowledge, the evil of plagiarism was once again defeated.
Game of Thrones Spoilers

It is a known fact that knowledge is a powerful tool, even in the realm of fantasy. Most college students understand this concept, and it can be a great topic of discussion, as long as the teacher isn't like the one in this story. This tutor had read the entire book on the sequel of "Game of Thrones", and was thus able to use his knowledge to control his unruly students.
When they started to act up, the students knew they would be told the next event in the show, and no one would be allowed to get away with it.
Learning Can Be Fun

As we progressed through the school years, classes became more and more demanding and complex with little to no fun in sight. However, one teacher saw how her students needed a break and decided to bring the fun back. She was like a first-grade teacher, engaging her students in playing, singing, and dancing and reminding them of their past days of joy.
Part of being a teacher is making sure students are motivated to learn about any subject, no matter how tough, boring, and complex. Things get a lot easier for everybody involved with teaching methods that combine learning and fun.
The Award Nobody Wants

No matter how much the world changes, certain things stay the same: like the excuses students come up with for not doing their homework. We all know the classics: "I was sick," "I didn't know there was homework," or even "My dog ate my paper." Josh Hance, however, took it to the next level. Unfortunately for him, Mrs. Azrai was not amused and responded creatively.
Hance now proudly displays his "Bermuda Triangle Award" certificate in his bedroom, but we don't think his mom has found out about what the award is for just yet. It's both hilarious and embarrassing at the same time!
The Eye That Sees It All

Cheating on exams has become a regrettable habit among students, who think it's their surest route to success. Fortunately, teachers are aware and have come up with inventive methods to stop it. This one tutor created an ingenious watchtower in his classroom, giving him an eagle-eye view of the entire room. It made us think of the character of Sauron, the see-it-all main antagonist from "Lord of the Rings."
This one is a hilarious but effective way to ensure that nobody even attempts to cheat! We can bet that his students have learned their lesson and will never again resort to cheating.
Go Green or Go Home

The woman in the picture dreamed of becoming a history tutor since she heard Theodore Roosevelt's famous quote, "The more you know about the past, the better you are prepared for the future." Despite what some people may say, it is important to dress for your ideal job, and not the job you currently have—and that's precisely what this teacher did!
She knew she would get her Master's in Education and History, and her green dress was strikingly hugging her body. It's no coincidence that green is a color used to symbolize renewal and immortality. So, never judge someone by their looks!
For Piano Legends Only

This music teacher had a unique solution to getting his students to ask for permission to play the piano: instead of using a boring old "do not touch" sign, he posted a humorous board with a hilarious Mozart ending - "Mozart is dead". While the post garnered a few chuckles, did it serve its purpose of getting students to ask for permission?
We don't know for sure, but we think everything is better when people do something in a creative and fun manner. We also bet that at least one self-righteous student challenged the rules because he believed he was as good as Mozart.
Periodic-Table Lyrics

This teacher certainly deserves some applause for his creative approach to teaching! By combining the elements of the periodic table with the popular hit single "Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga, he managed to capture his students' attention and help them remember the collection of elements through the catchy melody.
Who knows, maybe he'll get some As in music and chemistry as a bonus! His witty combination of composition and art has certainly earned him recognition, and he's probably one of the most popular teachers in school by now. As for Gaga, she transitioned successfully from singing to acting in recent years.
The Princess Leia We Deserve

Brian Dennert, a royal high school teacher in California, has taken the term "ID" to a whole new level! Instead of having a dull, standard ID card like other students and staff at higher learning institutions, he chose to make his card unique and memorable by dressing up as Princess Leia and using a photo of himself with a blaster.
It's certainly humorous, but one has to wonder if there will be any other Jedis popping up in the school soon! Out of all the cool-looking "Star Wars" characters, though, it's awesome that Dennert opted to impersonate the cute female protagonist.
Always Pack a Pencil! Otherwise…

At certain times in life, we all have experiences that cause us to feel embarrassed. It's best to keep these things private and not tell anyone, not even a close friend or a teacher. You never know how someone might use it against you. This teacher realized that the students were embarrassed by Justin Bieber's songs, and decided to use them to his advantage.
If students ever forgot to bring a pencil, the teacher would give them one with the inscription "I love Justin Bieber" on it. This was a great way to ensure that the students wouldn't forget to bring a pencil in the future.
The Intricate Life of Mr. Telfer

Cal Telfer, the English teacher at RCHK, deserves a standing ovation for being the most savage teacher out there. He doesn't need any introduction, as he is more than anyone can handle. Despite his no-nonsense look, Telfer brought a unique vibe to the interview. He sure has the heart of a comedian, but he also has the boldness of a bonafide hero.
It was revealed that he once lived in a cage with plenty of biohazards, and his childhood ambition was to escape from a lab. One can only imagine what he would say in a parents-teachers meeting if given the chance!
Facing the Class

Once she had completed her bachelor’s degree, this young woman felt ready to take on the world and get her professional certification. However, she quickly found that it wasn't quite so simple. Her fellow students taunted her, trading her feather duster for a bleached sponge. Nonetheless, her student experience had prepared her for exactly this kind of situation, and she was ready to show them that they had picked the wrong battle.
She may be just starting her career as a tutor, but she has a confident look in her eyes and seems to be unafraid of trying new teaching methods.
Another Huge James Cameron Hit

It's not often one finds a truly remarkable teacher, so when one does, it's important to cherish him or her. This particular teacher made the movie "Titanic" into a comedy, which is a very unusual way of teaching, yet it kept the students engaged throughout the session. Everyone loves comedy, so this was certainly a hit with the class.
The teacher asked the students to label it as if it was a dialogue between Jack and Rose from the movie, and to make sure that any scientific or skeletal descriptions were made humorous, which they were able to do successfully!
Beautifully Dangerous

We are thankful that corporal punishment was abolished, as no one wishes to be spanked by a teacher. That teacher's stare can be so intense that it leaves an indelible mark on our memories. Cross her and you'll live to regret it! Despite this, we must remember to be appreciative of teachers who are willing to go the extra mile for their students.
This young teacher may not look too ferocious at first, but she seems more than ready to deal with bad-behaved students. We don't know what's that in her hand, but we sure don't want to find out!
Changing Backgrounds

These teachers had a great time when they confiscated a student's phone. They decided to change the background picture to something hilarious and embarrassing, like a picture of the school staff! The student must have been shocked when he got his phone back and the first thing he saw was his teacher's face staring back at them.
Even after school, the student was left feeling haunted by the image! But this should teach him a lesson: the phone should not be used during classes. All in all, the teacher had a fun day out and even snapped a memorable picture.
Absent But Not Really

When the teacher was absent from school, the students felt liberated and ran amok without any authority figure in the classroom. To maintain her presence in her absence, the teacher had a substitute take her picture and hung it in the classroom with a serious, professional look. Knowing her students would likely do nothing without her watchful eye, she trusted that the picture would be enough to get their attention.
She got more than their attention, though: she also earned their respect. Every student loves a teacher with a sense of humor, especially if such a teacher happens to look this "professorial." It was a genius move!
From Hall of Fame to Walk of Shame

In this day and age, students often get caught up in the throes of social media, celebrities, and selfies as they strive to build their reputations. But one teacher had a unique approach to this problem: he created a Hall of Fame or Walk of Shame concept. Whenever students made small yet consequential mistakes, such as forgetting to put their names on a quiz, they were given public humiliation to ensure that they wouldn't repeat their errors.
The teacher also had the students' pictures hung up on the wall, making the entire initiative a memorable experience. It's a great example of a creative, effective way of dealing with negligent students.
Impossible-A Homework

Studying in school can be tricky because of the gap between what students are taught in class and the tasks they are given. This particular teacher gave his students unusual assignments that asked for one thing—but one day, we hope the students repay the favor to this teacher.
The homework was a list of tasks that combined the interesting, the exciting, and the impossible, such as mastering Kung Fu or ending world hunger in a day or two. We hope the students managed to satisfy the teacher's curiosity with their answers, but we don't think even the best in the class got an A on this assignment.
The Man in the Middle

The man in the middle was determined to stand out from the crowd, so he chose to think outside the box and get some headgear that is often deemed useless, especially in a galaxy far, far away… His bold move was recognized by the students and immortalized in their yearbook, as a sign of his courage and individuality.
The identity of the man was shared with the world, to show that it was possible to take a different route and start a different life. He went from being Mr. Smith in math class to being the epic teacher who dressed up as a "Star Wars" stormtrooper for his school's yearbook.
A Day-Off in Mordor

Frodo, the playful hobbit, was determined to get a pass for the day, despite not having a valid reason. His friend Gandalf was in charge of keeping order and would often use the phrase "You shall not pass" when trying to stop bad habits. Despite this, Frodo was undeterred and eventually got a pass.
The teacher who issued it seemed to be a fan of "Lord of the Rings" and used sarcasm to fill the spaces. We can only hope that the pass was legit, but we have no idea why someone would want to leave school for a place as dark and inhospitable as Mordor!
Happily Strangled

This trio's antics in school are sure to evoke nostalgia among the students, reminding them of the silly, yet endearing moments that made their friendship unbreakable. Plus, it was a blast to see the teachers joining in on the joke, especially with the snake prank. We bet some students got a good laugh out of this one!
Inserting pictures of hilarious and heartwarming moments is a great way to make sure that the yearbook is anything but dull. We wouldn't be surprised if everyone ends up with tears in their eyes, missing the fun times they had in school. And don't these three look like an '80s New Wave band?
Easy Extra Credit

This music teacher had a unique approach to testing her students. Rather than surprising them with a test they weren't prepared for, she decided to make the process more enjoyable. She added a line of "Never Gonna Give You Up" to the question paper, aware that it was a song all students were sure to know.
This meant that even if they didn't get the other questions right, they were guaranteed to pass! School life may be full of surprises, but this teacher wanted to make sure hers were positive ones, so she essentially gave an extra credit away for free to all her students.
Darth "Bacteria" Vader

This incredible microbiology teacher had a unique idea to get his students excited about the lecture—dressing up as the one-and-only Darth Vader from "Star Wars!" His costume was so realistic that none of the students could resist it. He even added a lightsaber to the costume to get the message across that this subject is no joke.
It's pretty incredible to find a teacher that is so passionate about his job (and about great science-fiction movies). Let's just hope that the costume wasn't too heavy. All respect goes to this teacher for his enthusiasm and creativity: what a fun way to learn about bacteria!
Who Needs Soda When You Can Have Tears?

It appears that the teacher in this situation had had enough of his students' misbehavior. Rather than continuing to tiptoe around the issue, he devised an ingenious solution which he named "students' tears." He even went so far as to put the "tears" in a cup and drink them, giving the impression that he was using the students' tears to satisfy his thirst.
We can only hope that this creative approach had the desired effect and caused the students to reflect and improve their behavior. We don't know what students' tears taste like, but we're pretty sure they're a healthier alternative to sugary drinks such as coke and soda.
When History Teachers Make History

At the annual yearbook picture placement, all eyes were on the beloved history professor, who was known for being cool, passionate, dedicated, and unmatched by other teachers. History was his favorite subject, and he gave it his all while also managing to maintain his fun-loving personality.
His presence in the yearbook served as a challenge to other teachers to strive to be as exceptional as he was. After all, teachers should reflect and embody the subjects they teach. We sure hope the music teacher dressed up as Elvis Presley, and we would love to see the chemistry teacher impersonating Walter White from "Breaking Bad!"
No Rest For the Wicked

Teaching is one of the most demanding and draining careers one can choose. Often, teachers find that they have to keep going with lessons with little to no breaks in between. Furthermore, it can be a challenge to ensure all students are treated fairly without showing any signs of fatigue.
In this instance, the teacher was likely exhausted and made the decision to leave. Fortunately, it was Halloween, so he created a clever cardboard cut-out and placed it on the chair to make it appear like someone was available for assistance. Little did he know one of his students actually stopped by his office…
