So, was this part of a comedy act? It is difficult to understand why they are posing the way are doing. It looks funny though and we are sure will have everyone in splits. After working as an assistant district attorney in New York City, he launched the monthly George magazine. He and his wife, Carolyn Bessette lost his life in a plane crash in 1999. He was only 38 at that time. His insurance plans would have certainly benefited his relatives.

Nevertheless, the three are sharing a joke it seems. Allan has been a much-celebrated individual till the time he was alive. He succumbed to liver cancer in the year 1999. The amount of money he has left-back in his banks would surely be of great help to his family.

The French actress took retirement from acting in the year 1973, took up singing, and is now busy as an animal rights activist. She married four times but had to end three of them abruptly. The 8th richest rock star in the world, Jagger is in the late 70s and we believe he had consulted his lawyer so that his retirement is sorted well. Throughout his career with the band, Mick had been a beloved one and continues to do so, even to this day.
David Bowie
David left a void in the lives and minds of his fan following since he left for his heavenly abode. Weeks after his death (2016), he left behind a plush estate that was worth $100 million. As a musician, he had investments galore. That’s not surprising; given the innovative work, he produced during the 1970s.
Bowie was active in his heydays and that’s evident from the party picture that’s circulating on the internet. This was at the Café Royal in 1973, where Mick Jagger and Lou Reed joined him. Standing at the back was Lulu.
David had embarked on a professional career in music in 1963. Before that, he generated a lot of interest in art, music, and design. He was close to his wife who he married in 1992 and got 50% of his worth, whereas his two children got 25% each.
Diana Ross
American singer and actress Diana Ross was initially a member of the very popular The Supremes in the 1960s. She excelled in acting too, which helped her deliver an Academy and Golden Globe Award performance in Lady Sings the Blues (1972). She proved equally great in her solo career that she started after departing from the band in the 1970s.
The singer in her younger days wasn’t far from what she did the best- singing. This picture stands as testimony to how she loved holding on to her microphone as she knelt on the DJ booth in the much-famed Studio 54.
Ross, all of 77 was named the ‘Female Entertainer of the Century by Billboard Magazine. The singer was also named the most successful female music in history by the Guinness Book of World Records in 1993. Surely, her retirement is all settled, thanks to her net worth.
Paul Newman
One of the most prolific actors, race drivers, film directors, and entrepreneurs of his time- Newman, unfortunately, breathed his last in 2008, when he was 83. He had won several awards too, including three Golden Globe Awards, a BAFTA Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, a Screen Actors Guild Actor, and also an Academy Award.
Paul was known for his “charming demeanor” and big heart, as he raised money for several charitable organizations all across the world. This was one of the snapshots where he was pictured in a black tie, alongside his wife (then girlfriend) Joanne Woodward in 1970, while there were partying sitting at a table.
Given the massive estate that Paul had built before he passed away, his family lawyers have clearly stated that the other members would never face any monetary issue. That should definitely be good news for everyone!
Eric Clapton
At 76, Eric complains of deafness and struggles to strum the guitar. But retirement he says is not on the cards. The three-time inductee to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has achieved worldwide reputations as the rock and blues guitarist and singer-songwriter.
This snap will always be one of the most evergreen captures of all time- with both Elton John and Eric Clapton being present. The party was called to celebrate Mark Clapton’s return in the world of recording and live performances in 1974, at the China Garden in Soho, London.
Clapton’s net worth is close to $250 million and that certainly implies he can get himself treated for his age-related ailments too. If that isn’t much, Eric’s bulk of the fame and fortune in his entire music career came from art, vehicle assets, and real estate. His care collection itself is no less than $100 million!
Donna Summer
While the world recognizes her by the stage name Donna Summer, she was born LaDonna Adrian Gaines. A five-time Grammy Award winner, Summer was the pioneer to have received this. She was highly influenced by the counterculture of the 1960s that helped her become the lead singer of Black Crow, the psychedelic rock band.
Donna’s throwback picture shows her in the avatar that she has excelled in. It was during the disco era of the 1970s that she became popular. Here, she’s seen performing at a party in New York in 1978 for Neil Bogart’s Casablanca Records.
The ‘Queen of Disco’ who achieved global acclaim passed away in 2012. Even after having such a great net worth, she never had to face what it means to retire. While this might sound nice, but we miss the artist that she was.
Cher
Often referred to as the ‘goddess of pop’ by the media, Cher embodied what’s known as female autonomy in the much male-dominated industry. The American singer, actor, and TV personality adopted multiple styles in the six-decade-long career. She’s 75 and a cultural icon, who has sold no less than 100 million records.
Cher has won several achievements including an Emmy, three Golden Globes, a Grammy Award, a Cannes Film Festival Award, and a Grammy. Despite her extraordinary singing prowess, Cher danced beautifully too. This snapshot is one of her best while she was dancing at Studio 54 in 1977.
With a net worth of close to $320 million, Cher is famous for owning several incredible real estate properties. We bet she did her financial planning much in advance. In fact, that’s great, for not many women of her time managed to do that.
Truman Capote – Est. $10 million
Several of Capote’s novels, plays, and short stories were praised as literary classics- especially the novella Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Cold Blood (labeled as a ‘nonfiction novel’). Truman Garcia Capote had died in 1984 but amassed a lot of fortune till he was alive. Though there were several difficulties in terms of his health, and he couldn’t gain much from his health insurance either- we believe his attorneys might have surely tried helping him, while he was alive.
Truman, much like his contemporaries, often partied and this picture was during one of such occasions in 1979 when he was present at Studio 54 in NYC.
The writer had a difficult life and started writing when he was only 11. It was after writing several short stories that he tasted critical success. Unfortunately, he passed away when he was just 59, owing to liver cancer.
