Guardian Angel

We often imagine firefighters as heroes or guardian angels who would sacrifice their life for everyone's well-being, and this perfectly timed photo comes right from our imagination. Depicting a firefighter in Peru, who accidentally got some wings of his own, it's safe to say that the photographer did a good job of capturing an image which describes our view of firefighters. Putting their own lives on the line, firefighters are often unsung heroes, who are not afraid to "spread their wings" and fly anywhere people need them.

Divine Tree

This picture was uploaded on Reddit by a photographer which came with the username "LeGaffe," leaving people dumbfounded. Combining the sun's light, the rain, and a beautiful tree, he managed to get a fantastic result of how nature can create the most fascinating images. It looks like some kind of a divine tree, from which all life emanates, just like the sci-fi books we often read. However, this apocalyptic-like tree is 100% real!

Is It Alive?

This is a picture which gives us a pretty eerie feeling, and it probably gave the same one to the man who captured it. He took a picture of his mother when she was cleaning up the bedsheets, but just when he was taking the shot, the sheet looked like a purple ghost staring right back at her! This is like a scene from a full movie, where the plot would reveal hidden entities when the photos are printed. We would certainly not be able to sleep at night after this!

Apple is now a trillion-dollar-worth company, thus, you'd understand how popular it is. But did you know that eagles love iPhones, too? Well, not exactly, but this picture comes with a brilliant optical illusion. When a man tried to capture an eagle sitting outside his apartment window, the glass created a beautiful reflection, and it looked like the one holding the phone was actually the bird! If you look closer, you can see the man and his hands. However, this snap is really funny at first sight.

Expressive Earbuds

You probably listen to your favorite music on the subway as well, but this guy's earbuds might be a bit smarter than yours. They even formed a treble clef, with one of the passengers taking a photo of it. These are some expressive earbuds! We don't know if their owner noticed them, but they seem to be serving their cause well. Sometimes, the most random of events can create a beautiful outcome, and you don't need to be a professional to capture it.

Sign From The God Of Poop

'Ever felt that a higher power has tried to talk to you? Well, this time, it tried to communicate with this man's toilet. The funny incident was captured when a man saw a lot of light streaming  to his toilet from his bathroom window, making it look a bit possessed, or more like a portal to "Sewerland." We don't really know what the message was, maybe: "It's about time you cleaned the toilet dude, your health's at risk! In any case, the "magical toilet" is a funny thing to see.

"Hey, Where Are You Taking The Sun?!"

You might not know it, but there was a time when a man tried to steal the sun with his truck (or at least it looked like it!).  This image is a fine example of what we call "perfect timing," as it was captured at the very moment the truck drove next to the sun's level, making it look like the driver mounted the star on his truck and tried to take it home. We don't know if this led to his arrest though. You know, stealing a star is a serious crime!

"Watch Out, Son!"

Dads are there to protect their family at any time needed, just as this picture proves. It was captured by a professional photographer who covered a baseball match. At one point, a player lost control of his bat, which hurled right onto the fans' seats. It was about to land on a boy's face, probably causing some serious injury, but Superdad here was there to save the day. He opened his arm and stopped the bat inches before reaching his boy's nose.

Just Before Crashing On The Shore

Another fascinating photo which was uploaded to Reddit is this one, depicting a wave just before it crashes on the beach's shore. You might think that capturing such an image is easy, however, timing the moment when the wave looks that perfect is a very difficult task. Reddit users joked about it, commenting that it came from Moana, a Disney movie. Such a photograph requires some professional skills, and more importantly, a very expensive camera, of course.

Smart Way To Hide Your Baldness

During one of Barrack Obama's speeches, a very weird and funny incident was revealed. One of his fans who stood just behind him with a baseball shirt on seemed to have a pretty weird hairstyle and everyone wondered about how he managed to get that kind of hair. Just some seconds later though, the truth was revealed. The hair wasn't actually his! In fact, there was a woman standing just behind him, and this optical illusion caused some serious giggles on the people listening to the speech.

It's All About Perspective

This stunning photograph was taken by professional photographer Royce Bair in Nevada, where 14 wind turbines generate electricity for the local area. He went on a higher area and aligned his position perfectly to create a staggering optical illusion, which kind of makes the turbines look like a spur. All of them were moving at the time, and the result was magnificent! It was shared by a lot of people on the Internet and it proves that photography is indeed a fascinating art.

"Uhm, Sir? You Have A Tree On Your Head!"

OK, this guy seems like a die-hard punk rock fan, but we didn't know that edgy guys had hair gels which could grow trees on their head actually. Just kidding. Surely, your perception was misled, and you originally thought that he had a whole tree standing on his head, but in fact, his hair is cone-shaped, and someone captured a photograph of him passing just in front of a tree standing on the opposite sidewalk. However, this created a hilarious and out-of-this-world optical illusion!

Yummy!

Captured by professional photographer Per Anders-Nilsson, this stunning photograph shows a trout which is just about to swallow a whole mayfly. This picture certainly required some pretty expensive gear to be captured, as its quality is excellent. Another magnificent detail is how the water around the trout's mouth is shaped, as the water surface was extremely calm during this moment until the big fish opened its mouth to feed, slowly emerging from the river's bottom.

Who Wouldn't Want A Kiss From Tim Duncan?

Father and son photos are always cute and funny, but this one is just hysterical! The duo posed for a photograph in front of the TV, wearing their favorite NBA teams' jerseys, but nobody had noticed it then that the Spurs' Tim Duncan seems to be hugging the man on the left and kissing his cheek.  It looks like clothes play a key factor when someone wants to reach out from your TV and kiss you without knowing it! For a while there, we thought it was a scene from Poltergeist!

"Hey, That's My Wife!"

Homer Simpson was probably in search of his wife, Marge Simpson, but luckily, this guy had found her. Someone happened to be watching an episode of The Simpsons when a truck stopped outside his house, featuring a Marge paint job on it. He used his camera perfectly, timing the moment when Homer looked to the right, just where the truck was. The picture fascinated The Simpsons fans around the Internet, and it quickly went viral.

Peter Pan, Is That You?

Ghost stories of entities rising through the flames are very popular, and they usually scare everyone, unless you see your favorite Disney characters coming out of them. Someone took a picture of this flame when he realized that it looked like Tinkerbell and Peter Pan. Does fire insurance cover you if Tinkerbell and Peter Pan come out of the fire and work their magic against you? We don't know actually. In any case, this is a beautiful snap.

Horseception

If Aliens were horses, they would probably look somewhat like this. Someone took a photo of his horse yawning just at the right moment. It looks as if a small horse's mouth is peering out of the mouth of this horse - just like what the Aliens in the eponymous movie do. The photograph has made people laugh, as it reminds us of the famous sci-fi film, and after it was shared on the Internet, fans found it hilarious. Timing is everything. And don't worry, no animal rights have been violated in this photo.

Beer Towel

Bayern Munchen FC had just won the Bundesliga when a professional photographer captured this beautiful photo of Kingsley Coman spilling a huge glass of beer on an unsuspecting Arjen Robben, who is seen holding his own glass. Funny thing is that the picture was captured at the exact moment when the beer formed a white surface which looked like a towel actually. The Bayern Munich players were ecstatic, and they celebrated their Championship win.

Where Are You Taking Him?

A man photographed his brother, but he never realized that his camera would give him such a stunning outcome. It looks as if the man is floating on air, waiting to teleport to some unknown galaxy. The dark environment with the light coming from behind gave an even more eerie result, and the hooded man jumped just at the right time. It also reminds us of stories about people resurrecting from the dead, or spirits making their appearance at an unexpected moment.

"Take Me To Your Leader"

An old man was at a local bowling center when someone photographed him just in front of a vending machine which featured some vitamin water bottles on it. With the perfect timing, it appears that the man is the chief of a Native-American tribe, with the bottles forming a rainbow tail on his head. This also looks like someone who sure loves his vitamins! The unsuspecting man never thought that this optical illusion would be created behind him, but someone captured it, and it sure made us laugh.

"I'll Probably Regret This"

Another old man got featured in a photo where the timing was so right that the expression on his face seems to say "What Have I Done?" He looks like he's regretting his decision, and probably sitting on a board to get down a snowy slope wasn't something that he really wanted to do. Hopefully, he had a good injury insurance at the time, though we doubt he ever suffered any injuries; he was probably just scared.

A Heavy Load

Have you ever seen a bumblebee so strong that it can carry the Sun itself? Well, it's possible (at least in a perfectly timed photograph!). This one was captured in Germany by German professional photographer Frank Rumpenhorst. The photo is a part of a series of pictures he took revolving around his home country's nature and weather. It creates a beautiful metaphor, in which a tiny bug has the godly strength to carry a whole star!

California Dreaming 

This magnificent snapshot was captured at Scripps Pier in La Jolla, California, and this particular spectacle happens just twice a year when the sun perfectly aligns with the pier's columns. Photographers gather every year to capture this dreamy image, which kind of reminds us of a portal to another world actually. This one was taken by John H. Moore, and we're truly thankful to him and his camera for that fantastic highlight.

Stylish Foal

Nobody would believe that a baby horse would be, in fact, born with such a high sense of style. Its mother's tail falls on its head, and it actually looks like it's wearing a wig! Pretty cute and funny, right? We wonder if it uses any hair growth products! Its mother eats while the foal goofs around with her tail, and someone captured the funny picture just as it turned its head and looked at the photographer.

Beautiful - Yet Dangerous

Germany is known to have a pretty stormy weather, and in August 2014, photographer Birk Mobius captured this fascinating, yet possibly fatal, incident in an area outside of Leipzig. A cargo plane was flying through a rainbow when suddenly, a lightning hit it. He feared for the worst, but as it was later confirmed, the plane safely landed at Leipzig without any accidents or damage to it. However scary this situation was, it granted us a stunning photograph.

Pedro Pascal's Not Amused

Someone had the bright idea to watch TV with their feet on the screen while watching a movie, and it seems like Pedro Pascal wasn't really delighted about this. A woman captured the snap at the exact moment when Pascal said "What are those?" and slippers are something that he probably doesn't like that much. She took the picture with her mobile phone, and the timing was just hilarious. Next time, don't wear slippers in front of Oberyn Martel!

Bird’s Eye View

A wildlife photographer in Mexico managed to capture this wonderfully ironic picture – a great flock of flamingos, gathered spontaneously to coincidentally form a giant flamingo! The occurrence is indeed bizarre and had the professional photographer not captured the image, nobody would believe it! The man who got it on camera is Bobby Haas, from Yucatan, northeast of Mexico. Had he not been in a helicopter at the time, he would not have even known about the formation!

First Combat Mission Initiation

In this photo, we see some behind-the-scenes activities of members of the U.S. Air Force. In every team-based workforce, there is the game of jesting. Here, we're shown a youngster who has just completed his first combat mission – and he’s being rewarded greatly by his friends, who feel adding a prank to his portfolio is a good idea! It’s a pity that pre-impact photos don’t come with respective post-impact photos too – we’d love to have seen his reaction! Poor soul.

Courtyard Capture

What we have now is a picture taken from the courtyard of a residential building, from the ground perspective, capturing a passing plane across the sky. The image seems deliberate as if the plane was intended to be framed by the towering building. However, as we know, the plane certainly couldn't have hovered there as the photographer adjusted his focus for that perfect shot! It's simply one of the small surprises in life, where things fall into place when you haven’t planned them, too! Pictures like these are hard to replicate – even with the greatest photography classes!

Singled Out

There’s actually a few things funny in this picture. The obvious thing that’s intended for a giggle is the solid, direct hit of the baseball bat on this poor spectator’s jaw. However, besides the weird expression on the victim’s face, what’s funny is that he seems to have not been paying attention in the first place! Also funny is that those around him are ducking (the lady with the eyeglasses is fortunate she wasn’t the target!), but the guy who gets singled out is the one who wasn’t even looking! It wasn't his lucky day...

Nose Picker

Here's a nice shot - but the more you look at this picture, the more confusing it gets. At first glance, you figure that the boys are playing basketball (obviously), so they are after the ball when this accident happens. But then, if you look carefully, you'll see that the guy with his finger on the other guy’s nose is actually looking right at him, making it appear deliberate. While it only makes it funnier, it also makes it confusing!  No need for an ambulance though!

Magic Carpet

While this woman is simply delivering her speech or announcement on the make-shift podium on the sand, she is completely unaware of the funny image she’s part of. The flags surrounding the space cast shadows, of course, and the flag behind the person holding the camera casts the shadow in just the right place, making it seem as though the woman is hovering over the ground - her podium seeming like a magic carpet in Alladin!

Crane Support

This is a clever angle – it creates the illusion that the crane is supporting the moon in the sky. It’s all a matter of perspective, as with many things in life. The backdrop of the mountains and the trees against the construction equipment is also quite stark and if we were psychologists (analyzing the cameraman's psychology) or analysts, we’re sure several metaphors could be deduced from this simple image! However, we doubt the photographer intended any metaphors at all.

Dragon in the Sky

At some point in our childhood (maybe even adulthood), we've perhaps laid back either alone or with friends or family and gazed at the ever dynamic clouds. Clouds morph into different shapes rapidly, and they can resemble anything at  – all it takes is an imagination and some creativity. The person behind the camera snapped this photo at just the right time when the clouds formed the shape of a dragon, but the best part is the positioning of the sun and its light, creating the effect of the dragon breathing fire!

Spaghetti Arms

This picture was sure an innocent mistake! Of course, maybe they set it up this way – who knows! It seems as though the man in the background has his left arm extended and resting on the girl’s shoulder in the forefront. A second look will tell you it isn’t freakishly long arms that explain it, but yet again, it's just a matter of an illusion! The watch on her wrist even resembles a bracelet on his arm – amazing accident!

Rollercoaster Launch Pad

The contrail produced by an aircraft engine seems to indicate that the rollercoaster coaches rocketed into the sky during the ride. It’s quite humorous actually, and while it puts a smile on your face, with a meme alongside this picture, it could be funny enough to bring tears rolling down your cheeks! Could you imagine having a picture of an alarmed group of people in a rollercoaster coach, alongside the shot? Priceless. Anybody up to finding the perfect meme for the snap?

Horsing Around

This is one of those pictures that make you do a double take – and when you realize exactly what’s going on in the picture, it only becomes funnier! Here we have a horse leaning into the picture, his head well positioned in front of the man, centered over his shoulders. It makes it seem as though the horse is laughing away, standing upright, wearing clothes, and perhaps striking a funny pose. Hilarious!

Nature’s Art

So many things happen in a day that we don’t think about. We don’t for a second consider what some of the things that take place every day actually look like in a fraction of a second. Here we see a priceless shot of a bird, seemingly dipping its face into a pool of water. It is something we don't see every day, especially from this angle (well, maybe children's books?). A fraction of a second later, the tension of the water would have broken and the beauty of this shot gone.

Fireworks

While fireworks are a wonder to watch as they explode into a display of colors, lights, and patterns in the dark backdrop of the night sky, have you ever considered what it would be like watching a still of what really happens when a firework shoots into the air? This picture is taken at the moment when it rockets up, showing the beautiful pattern the firework makes as it takes off. It goes to show, beautiful things are always happening, but we just miss it! Not even the clearest eyeglasses would help you catch this though!

I Give Thee, A Rainbow!

The angle of this picture creates the impression that the man – who is actually waving from the entrance of an aircraft – is casting a rainbow. A quick glance at the picture leads you to believe the rainbow is spewing from the palm of his hand! This guy is a hero – he sure must be happy about this, thanks to the clever placement of the camera! Rainbows are one of the best subjects of pictures like these – there’re so many ways to play with them!

The Bearded Woman

These women have no idea that they were just used as the subjects of this rather funny picture. They are completely unsuspecting, which always makes any joke all the better. The strategically-positioned book creates the illusion that the woman on the right is bearded, thanks to the picture on the cover and the positioning of the book on her face. Even the complexion of the man on the cover and the woman's match!

Smoke Ring Santa

Here we have a kid who has been placed in the perfect spot and now resembles someone we know. His friend seems quite the expert in blowing smoke rings with cigarettes or whatever it is that they are smoking, and the man behind the camera may have even planned this picture. Either way, it sure worked! The ring of smoke makes it look like the kid has a beard and a mustache like the famous Santa Claus himself.

Birdie Breakdance

A bird feeder is a lovely addition to any garden. It gives the perfect little space for attracting beautiful little birds and can be very entertaining. Having several kinds of birds of all species trotting about and chirping is something we don’t think anybody would not welcome! But here we have one little guy who seems to have done a break dance of sorts for the camera! Of course, the little things are so quick that it was probably a millisecond.

Dog Dentures

This cute furry creature is innocently playing a game of catch with his owner or whoever at a park. The picture is taken at just the moment when the picture of teeth on the ball is positioned perfectly to make it seem that the dog’s dentures have fallen out. A clever photo, but one that is difficult to capture. They certainly got it just right here – even the teeth are right side up!

Overlap

How often do you see two planes showcasing a contrail display - one with a blue contrail and the other with a red one? The planes appear to be overlapping, as though they are practically sandwiched together. However, the truth is that it’s easy to create this illusion with aircraft because it is very difficult for the human eye to gauge the distance between objects high in the sky. The perspective sure makes it look easy. Contrary to popular belief, seeing isn’t always believing, and even your eye specialist can tell you that.

For the Love of Cats!

For any cat lover, this picture is absolutely adorable. In fact, it’s a great picture whether you’re fond of cats or not! The cats are completely unaware, but their tails have made the shape of a heart, quite clearly. The person behind the camera is sure to have picked up on this quite by mistake – cats aren’t the type to pose for pictures and we doubt they’d agree for their tails to be manipulated into shapes!

Picking Up the Eiffel Tower

Much like the crane and the moon, here we have a shot taken of a crane with the Eiffel tower in the background, positioned such that it seems to be held up by this crane. Pictures like these are very simple, admittedly, but they never cease to still stir up interest! Grab your trusted phone (assuming it's a smartphone) and try out a couple of imaginative pictures using different perspectives to create illusions – you just might be surprised at what you'd capture!

Cooooookie!!!

This picture captures the strange expression this dog has the second before it munches down on whatever it is that it’s yearning so much to eat! He looks like he needs the animal clinic! Dogs are known to be easily excitable, and rather greedy animals – so we can imagine the utter excitement this poor guy felt at having the opportunity to eat what appears to be a cookie or a biscuit! And no, you cannot train your dog to pull this face whenever you throw him a biscuit – but you can try!

Moonwalking

He looks like he’s about to step onto the moon from a ledge - a lovely picture! While you know it’s just a matter of perspective, it doesn’t take the fun away from it. In fact, it sort of brings up a couple of thoughts about what it would be like to walk in space. This picture sure gives a different meaning to moonwalking! The tilt of the camera also makes it seem like the moon is a step up, whereas it’s actually higher than the wall. Pretty clever!

The Handshake

Who says whales aren’t friendly? In fact, judging from this picture, it seems that they are the gentlest and politest sea creatures of them all! Here it looks like the whale is extending its fin for a handshake with the diver – and it’s actually quite intriguing. It makes one think about the magnificent creatures of the ocean! Perhaps there’s a picture of a whale giving a grand polite smile, too! We want to see that!

This might have been deliberate, but it’s far funnier to believe it was an accident! Why invest in an eye mask when a magazine can do the trick – with the added benefit of entertainment! It sure is one of those snapshots that make you squint to get a better look! It wouldn’t have been half as funny if the picture wasn’t of a guy looking suitably zoned out or just lost a boxing match. What an apt pic!

Seadog

What do you get when you cross a seagull and a dog? A seadog of course! No, it isn’t a new hybrid species and no, it isn’t possible, but it sure doesn’t make this image less hilarious! This poor old dog looks like it’s about to take into flight over the ocean! This now gives us an idea of what we’re going to try out next time we’re at the beach… we’re getting someone with a camera to take shots of us chasing seagulls for our profile pictures, of course!

Photographic Proof

As all parents know, there are no rule-books when it comes to parenting. While nobody can call the parenting police on this one – it doesn’t make it any easier to live down when you have photographic proof of the less-than-finer moments of parenting! Maybe this family was just strolling around the countryside as mom and dad talk about stuff and bam - the little girl trips! The looks on both their faces are just priceless and the kid was photographed at the most comical point of her fall! All’s well that ends well!

Moment of Impact

Some days, you have great luck and you seem to get away with murder, so to speak. Other days, you get hit straight in the face with a basketball. It’s pretty obvious what status this poor guy’s luck had on this fateful day! It sure must have hurt! Can you imagine his injury insurance claim? A still taken a millisecond later would probably show him in a ball on the floor wincing and clutching his face in pain. But, we’ll just leave all that to our imagination...

Hybrid Species

At a quick glance, it looks like a human morphing into a golden eagle. But truly speaking, this image is art in itself. It is beautiful how the hue of the bird’s eye matches that of the girls, and how smoothly the colors of her hair and its highlights blend with that of the bird’s feathers. It is an amazing picture – one that you’d be hard pressed to come by ever again!

You May Kiss the Shark

A wedding photo shoot in an aquarium sounds interesting – how unique and original this idea was. Well, that’s until nobody had the forethought of considering the reflections! In this woman’s case, her wedding photo is a step ahead in uniqueness – how many people can say they’ve kissed a shark on their big day? It is a humorous and innocent reflection accident; with the groom in black, his reflection is practically invisible. But then again, it might also mean that the guy she married is, in reality, a shark! Only in the movies, of course...

Can a lightning bolt bounce off a rainbow?

When it comes to the world of photography, there are many people who decide to study this fine art in order to be able to capture moments that no one else could. When looking at this picture, we can see that the photographer managed to capture one of those rare nature moments that just take your breath away. It’s not every day we get to see lightning striking at the very point you even see a rainbow in the sky!

A mythical creature, right?

Just by looking at this picture, we can see that the person who captured it attended great photography classes or has an eye for the art, as it seems we are looking at a chimera of sorts, a creature from Greek mythology! When we analyze the image further, we can notice that it is just an animal trying to get away from a big bird, maybe from a vulture or an eagle. We have all witnessed over the years how quickly technology has progressed and almost all companies take advantage of it to keep up. NASA has been the leader in the field that doesn’t stop surprising us with the discoveries and research of the Earth and galaxies. Often, we come across on the Internet pictures of space shuttles and other aircraft but this one, although there are reports it isn’t a real image but a montage, comes with a perfect timing.

When you’re hungry, you’ll do pretty much anything in order to get some food and while people are a bit more sophisticated when it comes down to it, nature is crueler. We already know how dogs are among people's emotional support animals and they are our best friends, as adorable fellows always set great examples of that. Burning Man is probably one of the biggest festivals happening in the United States each year. As it offers all kinds of entertainment, it is probably worth your money to come here and have the mouthwatering time of your life. One of the events organized by the crew of Burning Man is skydiving, where you can get a chance to catch a surreal moment looking down on the desert just like this.

Diving head first?

With everyday workout and the help of trainers, German athlete Luisa Bodem became one of the most successful athletes in her home country, participating in all kinds of sporting events and rising to the occasion. It was during the German indoor athletics in Leipzig at the women’s long jump event when this picture was taken, possibly unintentionally making it look like Bodem is swimming in sand. Oh, the power of perspective, right?

I’m jumping through the hoops over here

Here is another picture that was taken at the perfect timing! The professional photographer apparently was at the right place and at the right time, as he or she managed to capture the moment this dog was jumping through hoops at all his grace. We love seeing animals doing tricks and it's never easy learning something new, so this comes as a wonderful quest for this small dog, don't you think? Hopefully, he came out as the winner!

You don’t need to attend photography classes but just to be lucky enough to capture this amazing moment and of course, have your camera or phone nearby. The picture appeared on the Internet as someone shared it on their social media account, stating his friend randomly took this picture on the beach a few days before. The seagull expertly decided to ruin it, though, stealing his ice cream. It is one lucky friend and one lucky seagull, that’s for sure!

We are all in love with the sea and we have so much respect for it. From spectacular beaches, beautiful destinations, and underwater worlds, there is just nothing about the sea that isn’t absolutely breathtaking.
